Investigation is conducted in Vagharshapat Investigative Division of Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of murder committed by 63 year-old man against his wife and her brother. 63 year-old man was arrested.

Pursuant to initial data, on June 11, 2019 at about 15:15 during the argument over domestic matters in the yard of one of the houses of Aratashen village of Armavir province the man, born in 1955, fired shot against his 60 year-old wife with a weapon of “Toz” model of 5.6mm caliber. Then he went to the house of his wife’s brother who lived in the same village and fired shot towards him with the same weapon. 60 year-old woman and her brother died of firearm injuries they had sustained.

A criminal case was initiated in Vagharshapat Investigative Division of Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 1 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. 63 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murdering two persons.

The weapon of “Toz” model of 5.6mm caliber which was the crime tool was confiscated.

Urgent investigatory actions were conducted – search was conducted, witnesses were questioned, forensic medical examination of the body, forensic trace, forensic ballistic examinations were commissioned, the clothes the victims and 63 year-old man were wearing at the moment of the incident were confiscated.

Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to provide the objective, complete and comprehensive investigation of all circumstances of the case, to verify circumstances mentioned in testimonies.
