Within the framework of the criminal proceeding initiated in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 155 and the Point 8 of the Part 2 of the Article 167 of RA Criminal Code procedural and evidentiary actions are conducted to find out all circumstances of one person’s murder as well as infliction of bodily damage to another person committed in the agricultural market.

The call on the case was received on January 15, 2023 at 09:05 informing that murder had been committed in the mentioned agricultural market located at the administrative area of Gay village.

On the same day at 20:20 a call was received from “Vagharshapat” medical center informing that 28 year-old man, stabbed, was taken to medical center.

Inspection of the scene was conducted, items of interest to the proceeding were confiscated, numerous persons were questioned. Forensic medical expertise was commissioned.

In the result of investigative actions and operative-intelligence measures it was found out that during the argument on domestic matters in the mentioned market 56 year-old resident of Jrarat village stabbed and illegally deprived 49 year-old man of life. During the same argument he also stabbed the person, who was taken to medical center, and then fled.

In the result of urgent actions 56 year-old resident of Jrarat village was arrested.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
