A criminal case initiated on violence against the representatives of authorities
A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department on violence committed against the representative of authority.
On 9 March, 2015 at 03:05 the inspector of traffic service of RA Traffic police A. Qocharyan submitted a report to the police station of Taron telling that on the same day at about 02:30 he was on duty with 4 more employees of the police station on Shirak road of Vanadzor when a car “Mercedes Benz” parked near them and 5 persons got out of it. Being under the influence of alcohol they argued with them. Then one of the mentioned persons S. Navasardyan punched him twice and escaped.
On March 9, 2015 a criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 316 of RA Criminal Code.
On the same day S. Navasardyan was arrested.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
