In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in Armavir Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of having sexual intercourse with a girl under 16 were found out. The latter's father was arrested.

On May 13, 2019 at 15:20 a call was received in the police station from a medical center informing that a juvenile under 14 – a resident of Armavir province, born in 2005, with 22-23 weeks of pregnancy was taken to them.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA Police according to the Point 2 of the Part 3 of the Article 141 of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which is conducted the RA IC Armavir Regional Investigative Department. The juvenile girl was found the injured party.

During preliminary investigation on August 12, 2019 information was received from the medical center that the juvenile resident of Armavir province gave birth.

Within the criminal case necessary investigatory and other procedural actions were conducted – a number of persons were questioned, blood samples were taken, forensic genetic examinations were commissioned.

Pursuant to examinations results the child's father is the juvenile girl's father. The latter was arrested.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
