Preliminary investigation of the part on two employees of “Haypost” CJSC separated from the criminal proceeding initiated on abuses committed in Vardenis Territorial Agency of Social Assistance was completed in Vardenis Investigative Division of Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

Pursuant to factual data obtained through investigation, 52 and 39 year-old residents of Vardenis town, being employed in “Haypost” CJSC, in different periods supported the head of Vardenis Territorial Agency of Social Assistance A.H., two employees of the same agency to swindle money in particularly large amount by fraudulence.

Particularly, the mentioned employees of “Haypost” CJSC, carrying out the function of handing over the family benefit amounts delivered to the post office of "Haypost" CJSC to the beneficiaries included in the list of beneficiaries, living in the villages of the administrative territory of Vardenis community, reaching prior agreement with the head of Vardenis Territorial Agency of Social Assistance and the mentioned two employees, involving false data in the name of residents living in the mentioned villages (without their knowledge), handed over the money received in the post office served by them and being in their possession, to the employee of the mentioned agency.

Then in order to confirm the fact that the received money had been handed over to the beneficiaries and to hide the criminal activities, the lists containing false data were handed over to the same employee in order to sign against the names of the mentioned beneficiaries, after which they put into circulation the fake lists that were given to them by the employee. So they used them confirming as if the persons included in the mentioned lists had actually received the benefit amounts allocated in their names.

As a result, the head of Vardenis Territorial Agency of Social Assistance and the mentioned two employees with the support of the mentioned two employees of "Haypost" CJSC, swindled by fraudulence money in particularly large amount, 257.323.167 AMD, in total.

On the base of the obtained sufficient facts charge was pressed against two employees of "Haypost" CJSC according to the Point 3 of the Part 3 of the Article 46-255 and the Part 2 of the Article 457 of RA Criminal Code. Mortgage was chosen as a pretrial measure against them.

Preliminary investigation of the part separated on the mentioned employees was completed, the materials of the criminal proceeding were sent to the prosecutor for approval of the bill of indictment and referral to court.
