Investigative and other procedural actions are conducted in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of murder attempt committed against a resident of Yerevan.

On December 7, 2021 at 21:10 the citizen called Arabkir Police Division and informed that his son had been stabbed. Pursuant to another call received on the same day from “Armenia” medical center the ambulance group had taken the resident of an apartment of the house located in A. Avetisyan Street, Yerevan with cut-pierced wounds to the medical center.

In the result of operative-intelligence measures taken by the police officers it was found out that the man had received the mentioned bodily injuries during the argument with 36 year-old resident of Yerevan that took place on the same day at about 20:55 in front of the petrol station located in Vagharshyan Street.  Pursuant to initial data, the latter stabbed the above-mentioned man on different parts of his body causing bodily injuries.

A criminal case was initiated in Arabkir Police Division according to the Part 1 f the Article 34-104 of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which is conducted in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

36 year-old man was arrested.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
