In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee cases of swindling committed from 2006 to 2013 in one of the preschool educational institutions in Yerevan were revealed; charge was pressed against institution director.

In the result of investigatory actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the RA IC Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department on abuses recorded at preschool educational institution actual data were obtained on the allegation that the director of educational institution committed swindling in particularly large amount from the property entrusted to him, the mechanism was found.

Particularly, pursuant to preliminary investigation data, from July, 2016 to January, 2013 the director of educational institution formulated several people for several posts who did not come to work. Every month the defined salary was transferred to the bank account opened in their names which was managed by the director.

On the base of the sufficient evidence obtained during pretrial proceeding charge was pressed against the director according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 179 of RA Criminal Code. The latter’s office has been temporarily suspended.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
