Charge Pressed against Employee of “Wildberries” LLC for Embezzlement in Large Amount
Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on embezzlement in large amount committed by the employee of “Wildberries” LLC was completed in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
Pursuant to data obtained through investigation, 26 year-old young man, from January, 2019 being employed in the branch of Vanadzor town of the above-mentioned company as a manager-cashier and under the employment contract being in charge of finances – being authorized to organize and coordinate the work in the storage, as well as to carry out cash deposit and withdrawal operations, from 1 October, 2019 to 1 February, 2020 by embezzlement swindled the company’s money in large amount - 1.958.390 AMD received from sale of several kinds of goods.
Based on the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the employee of “Wildberries” LLC according to the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 179 (squandering or embezzlement) of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.
Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
