Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on illegal procurement, keeping and selling of narcotic drugs or psychotropic materials in large amount was completed in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. Charge was pressed against 43 year-old resident of Yerevan.

Pursuant to data obtained during pretrial proceeding, in March, 2018 the resident of Yerevan, born in 1975, illegally procured, kept and sold narcotic drug of 0.02 grams of «Methadone» type.

Through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained on other criminal manifestations, as well. Particularly, it was found out that with the purpose of sale in the same period 43 year-old man illegally procured and kept in his house narcotic drug of 0.08 grams of «Marijuana» type, 9 pills with significant amount - 0.045 grams containing psychotropic material of «Haloperidol» type and 17 pills with large amount - 0,034 grams containing psychotropic material of «Lorazepam» type.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the man, born in 1975, according to the Point 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 266 of RA Criminal Code (2 counts) and the Part 1 of the Article 266 of RA Criminal Code.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
