In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee murder attempt committed against 29 year-old man in Nor Aresh district was revealed, charge was pressed.

It was earlier informed that on May 3, 2018 at 23:30 the resident of Yerevan H. Avagyan, born in 1989, with firearm injuries and fractures was taken to “Erebuni Medical Center” CJSC.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. 29 year-old man was found the injured party but he did not give testimony on circumstances of the case.

In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions actual data were obtained on circumstances significant for the case, identity of the person having committed the alleged crime; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1988. On May 4 he was found, questioned. The suspect gave testimony, during the investigatory experimentation he pointed out the scene and presented the crime tools – self-made pistol and blackjack to the investigative body.

Thus, through preliminary investigation it was found out that on the day of the incident – on May 3 in Nor Aresh district of Yerevan a row erupted between the injured and the man, born in 1988, during which the latter hit the 29 year-old man on his head with a blackjack then in order to illegally deprive him from life shot twice towards him inflicting bodily injuries.

On the base of the sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the man, born in 1988, according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
