In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee charge was pressed against a 28 year-old man for hooliganism, using violence against police officers.
 

According to preliminary investigation data, on February 16, 2016 at about 17:40 K. Ghukasyan, born in 1988, being under the influence of alcohol scolded loudly at a residential building and did not obey the legal demand of police officers to behave properly. Moreover, according to the obtained evidence the young man used violence against the police officers – senior inspector and security officer who had been called to the site by senior inspector. After being apprehended to the police station K. Ghukasyan went on scolding thus disrupting the regular work of the police station, he also punched the deputy head of the police station.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against K. Ghukasyan according to the Part 2 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code (hooliganism combined with violence against a person or threat to use violence) and the Part 1 of the Article 316 of RA Criminal Code (using violence against a representative of authorities or threat to use violence concerned with performance of his official duties).
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
