Criminal Case Initiated on Serviceman Hovik Tamazyan’s Murder Committed by Enemy
On September 16, 2020 at about 11:10 in the result of the shot fired by the sniper from the combat base of the enemy towards the combat base of protection area of the unit N serviceman Hovik Nelson Tamazyan sustained firearm and shrapnel injuries on the left hand, chest, face and neck. H. Tamazyan died on the way to military hospital.
A criminal case was initiated in the Sixth Garrison Investigative Unit of General Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 2 and 13 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation is conducted.
