A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on willful infliction of heavy bodily damage to health.

On September 8, 2018 at 23:20 a call was received from “Astghik” medical center informing that a RA citizen with “cut-pierced wound on the frontal part of the abdomen” was taken to medical center. On the same day at 23:50 a call was received that a citizen with an injury on the head and at 00:10 another citizen with “pierced wounds on the abdomen and chest” were taken to medical center.

It was found out that the citizens had sustained the bodily injuries during the argument that took place near the school N 121 in Tichina Street of Yerevan.

According to certificates given by the doctor the latters were not able to give explanations.

On September 9, 2018 a criminal case was initiated in Malatia Division of Yerevan Department of the RA Police according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code which on the same day was received in the investigative division.

During preliminary investigation a decision was made to find the three citizens, who had sustained bodily injuries, the injured party.

The citizens having committed the alleged crime turned themselves into Malatia division of the RA Police for committing the mentioned crime. One of them presented the crime tool - the knife.

On the same day they were brought to the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

One of the citizens was arrested on suspicion of committing a crime envisaged by the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. The latter was questioned as a suspect and gave testimony.

Handing to parents' supervision was chosen as a pretrial measure against the other citizen having committed the alleged crime. The latter was questioned as a suspect and gave testimony.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
