Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee A. Ghambaryan today received the delegation of the USA International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, representatives of Las Vegas Police were also involved in the delegation.
During the meeting a wide range of issues on fight against domestic violence, investigation peculiarities were discussed. The parties assessed highly the efficient cooperation formed between the RA Investigative Committee and the USA law enforcement bodies, it was stated that examinations conducted by the Investigative Committee and the maintenance of a specific type of crime statistics give an opportunity to have a more complete understanding of prevalence degree of domestic violence, geography, nature and victims, contributing conditions and in this case it will be possible to raise the efficiency of fight against domestic violence.
A. Ghambaryan highlighted the investigators’ training and assessed highly the conduction of training from 7 to 10 February in Yerevan planned for law enforcement employees by Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs and Las Vegas Police.
The parties arranged to continue the active cooperation.
