In the course of the preliminary investigation conducted within the criminal proceeding investigated in the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, on December 12, 2023 a face-to-face interrogation was conducted between the  person arrested within the criminal proceeding and the victim within the same proceeding, RF citizen Yu. Maximovskaya upon completion of which, at about 21:30, Yu. Maximovskaya asked to go to the toilet. The investigator accompanied the latter to the women’s toilet of the investigative division and waited in front of the door.

Entering the toilet, Yu. Maximovskaya attempted to escape from the toilet window and fell onto the mesh roof in the walk-out area of the detainee holding facility of the Police of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, receiving bodily injuries. Yu. Maximovskaya was taken to Erebuni medical center.

Pursuant to the reference received from the medical center, the latter was diagnosed with a compression fracture of L2 and L3 vertebral bodies.

With regard to the case on December 12, 2023 a criminal proceeding was initiated on the Investigative Division of Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 44-506 of RA Criminal Code.

Inspection of the scene was conducted.

Let us remind that within the criminal proceeding investigated in the First Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee, which had been initiated on committing apparent hooligan acts in the center of Yerevan – in Tumanyan and Mashtots Streets, on December 8 between 22:00 and 23:30 by two RA citizens, Yu. Maximovskaya has a status of an accused, and detention has been chosen as a pretrial measure against her.
