IC Chairman Sum up Work Done by Investigative Division of Shengavit Administrative District in 2018 (photos)
The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan visited the Investigative Division of Shengavit Administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to get acquainted with the work done by the investigative division in 2018.
Head of the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district Samson Matevosyan reported the IC Chairman about the work done by the investigative division in the previous year.
In the observed period 1429 criminal cases were investigated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department as compared with 1056 criminal cases investigated in 2017.
Preliminary investigation of 558 criminal cases or 39.04 % was completed / 387 completed criminal cases in 2017/, that is the number of completed criminal cases has increased by 171 cases or by 44.18%.
34 criminal cases on corruption-related crimes were investigated in the investigative division / 19 criminal cases - in 2017/. 21 persons were involved as a defendant within the mentioned cases / 11 persons – in 2017/.
During pretrial proceeding it was found out that pecuniary damage caused by the crimes within completed criminal cases was 94.121.000 AMD which was completely restored.
The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan discussed the process of criminal cases sphere by sphere and gave specific instructions to make them more efficient.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee referred to citizens’ reception mentioning that proper reception should be organized for each citizen who asks for it.
“The assessment of the work done by the investigative division in the previous year is excellent. It is the result of unanimous work done by the subdivision head, deputy heads and investigators. In 2019 you must work with the same intensity. Staff changes in our system will be conditioned by efficiency of work. You shall not have a promotion at somebody’s request. Only your hard work and excellent results can ensure your promotion in the system”, emphasized Hayk Grigoryan.
IC Chairman instructed the Head of Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district to present the best investigators for reward.
