The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan paid a working visit to the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to sum up the work done by the investigative division in 2018.

The Head of RA IC Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department Arman Nahapetyan presented the work done by the investigative division in 2018.

Thus, in the observed period 8 investigators actually worked in the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district, 504 criminal cases were investigated as compared with 430 criminal cases of the previous year, the overload of the investigator was 63.

The number of criminal cases investigated in the investigative division in the observed period in comparison with the previous year has increased by 17.68% which is conditioned by the increase of corruption-related crimes as compared with the same period of the previous year. The index of theft from apartments is also worrisome which has significantly increased as compared with the previous year (by 65%, 23 criminal cases in 2017 and 66 criminal cases in 2018).

The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan discussed the process of criminal cases sphere by sphere, as well as gave instructions to organize preliminary investigation of criminal cases in a more efficient way, to enhance the quality of preliminary investigation.

RA IC Chairman Hayk Grigoryan appealed to the investigative division staff to show caring and decent attitude while communicating with citizens.

“In the face of you the citizen sees the state and each incorrect behavior of yours is identified with the system and the state. You should treat each citizen properly and the citizens affected by grave or particularly grave crimes or their legal successors should be received by subdivision heads”, emphasized the IC Chairman.

Hayk Grigoryan gave a positive mark to the work done by the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district. At the same time, he emphasized that it is necessary not only to maintain the work intensity but also to increase it.

“The investigator should have an officer’s psychology, he should be decent, honest and prepared for anything”, said IC Chairman instructing the head of the division to present those who have best indices during the service for encouragement.
