Investigation is conducted in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of murder of 34 year-old resident of Vanadzor.

On March 23, 2021 at 10:50 a call was received from “Vanadzor Medical Center” CJSC in Taron Police Division informing that the body of the resident of the same town, born in 1986, with firearm injuries on the head, neck, chest and wrists was taken to them from the yard of one of the houses in Tumanyan Street, Vanadzor.

A criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 (murder) of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which was assigned to the investigative group.

A number of investigative actions were conducted, among them inspections of the scene, transport means, body, cameras available at the scene, numerous witnesses were questioned, forensic medical, forensic ballistic examinations were commissioned.

Measures are taken to find out all circumstances of the case, to identify the person having committed the alleged crime.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
