In the result of necessary investigatory and procedural actions conducted in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of apparent hooliganism committed by a 45 year-old man were found out. Charge was pressed against the latter.

Through investigation it was found out that on June 17, 2019 the man, born in 1973, who had been taken to «Armenia» medical center showed obvious disrespect to the staff of medical center scolding, roughly violated public order which was combined with argument with ambulance driver.

On the same day 45 year-old man was apprehended to RA Police division where the latter went on showing obvious disrespect towards police officers scolding them.

A criminal case was initiated in Mashtots Police Division according to the Point 2 of the Part 3 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code which was sent to the RA IC Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts for preliminary investigation.

Besides, on October 21, 2019 45 year-old man seeing the police officer in vegetables shop remembered what had happened and ignoring those present scolded the police officer.

A new criminal case was initiated. A decision was made to join the mentioned criminal cases and conduct preliminary investigation in one proceeding.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 45 year-old man according to the Point 2 of the Part 3 of the Article 258 (2 counts). Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
