Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on murder attempt was completed in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee. Charge was pressed against 24 year-old man.

Murder attempt was committed on November 5, 2018 at about 23:30. The resident of Yerevan, born in 1995, being in tense relations with a young man, born in 1999, fired 8 shots towards the latter causing heavy bodily damages threatening to life.

In the result of measures of great volume taken within the criminal case initiated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of murder attempt, the scene, the motive were found out.

Through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained on the allegation that 24 year-old young man had been in tense relations with 19 year-old injured, his brother and friends because of quarrels on personal matters.

It was found out that in August, 2018 during the argument 24 year-old man stabbed one of the brothers. Some while later the latter caused injuries with a knife and weapon to his friend. As a result, tense relations were formed after which 24 year-old man thinking that he was in danger and they could take revenge on him any time, illegally procured a rifle of 9 mm caliber and on November 5, 2018 at about 23:30 fired 8 shots against 19 year-old young man in their yard.

On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against the young man, born in 1995, according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.
