Investigation is conducted in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find circumstances of husband’s murder committed by the wife.

On May 25, 2017 at 00:50 a call was received from “Vanadzor Medical Center” CJSC informing that the body of 33 year-old resident of Lori was taken to medical center.

The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the site and in the result of taken measures data were obtained on the allegation that 33 year-old man had sustained the injury incompatible with life at home during the argument with his wife. Pursuant to initial data, on May 25 at about 00:00 during the argument with the husband the 32 year-old resident of Lori Region fired shots towards her husband with a pistol of “Makarov” type and killed him.

On the same day a criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which was tasked to the investigatory group.

Inspection of the site was conducted during which the 32 year-old woman presented the crime tool – the pistol. On the same day the latter was arrested.

Forensic medical, forensic ballistic examinations were commissioned to find circumstances significant for the criminal case, confiscations were conducted, appropriate samples were taken.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
