In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee conduction of comprehensive, complete and objective investigation is ongoing to find out all circumstances of 50 year-old man’s murder.

It was earlier informed that on March 4, 2019 at about 00:40 the resident of Yerevan, born in 1977, argued over domestic matters with another resident of Yerevan, born in 1969. During the argument with the purpose of illegal deprivation from life the man, born in 1977, fired shots towards 50 year-old man with a firearm kept by him illegally. As a result, the latter died of firearm injuries he had sustained.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.

In the result of urgent investigatory actions a number of circumstances were found out.

On the evening of March 4 the man, born in 1977, surrendered himself to the investigative body, presented the crime tool – a firearm. The latter was arrested.

Forensic medical examinations were commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
