Part on Former Minister Separated from Criminal Case on Apparent Abuses Committed in Ministry of Nature Protection Sent to Special Investigatory Service

In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions of great volume conducted within the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee on apparent abuses committed in the RA Ministry of Nature Protection data were obtained on infliction of significant damage to legal interests of the state committed by appropriate officials of the mentioned ministry which has negligently caused grave consequences.

It was found out that by apparent abuse of official position water use permit with breaches of requirements of relevant legal acts was provided by the former Minister of the RA Nature Protection Aram Harutyunyan to one of the hydroelectric power plants operating in Armenia.  

The part on the mentioned official was separated from the criminal case and was sent to the RA Special Investigatory Service according to investigatory subordination.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
