The person wanted within the criminal case on murder attempt investigated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee tuned himself to the investigative body.

It was earlier informed that on February 21, 2020 in Yerevan district called Aeratsia the person having committed the alleged crime willfully fired shots with a rifle kept by him illegally towards the citizen who was in the car of «Infinity» make. However, he could not complete the crime under unforeseen circumstances as the bullets touched several parts of the car.

Through inspection of the scene numerous firearm damages, balls were found on the car of «Infinity» make.

Through investigation the person, who had fired shots towards the citizen, was identified; he is a 34 year-old resident of Yerevan. Through search conducted in his apartment, as prescribed by law, hemp plants grown were found.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence the charge pressed against him according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 (murder attempt) and the Part 1 of the Article 235 (illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices) changed and was added; charge was pressed against him also according to the Part 1 of the Article 273 (illegal cultivation or raising of herbs prohibited for processing, containing narcotic, psychotropic or toxic substances) of RA Criminal Code.

A motion was submitted to court to reconfirm detention as a pretrial measure chosen against him.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Measures are taken to find out all circumstances, to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
