Through comprehensive investigation conducted in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of murder attempt committed by 39 year-old resident of Yerevan against the fellow-citizen were found out.

Pursuant to factual data obtained through investigation, in April and May, 2021 39 year-old man argued with 27 year-old young man at the car technical service center operating on Arshakunyats Avenue, Yerevan. Then on May 25, 2021 for the purpose of illegal deprivation of the young man’s life, 39 year-old man, in his car of “Vaz 2107” make chased the young man in his car of “BMW” make from Nor Kharberd village of Ararat region to Artashat Avenue, Yerevan and at about 18:30 fired two shots towards the latter from a firearm kept by him illegally. However, he could not complete the crime under unforeseen circumstances as the young man drove on and with heavy bodily injuries threatening to life turned to “Shengavit” medical center.   

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 39 year-old resident of Yerevan according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the motion to confirm the bill of indictment and send the case to court was sent to the prosecutor.
