Search Declared against 28 year-old Man Charged with Fellow-Villager’s Murder
In the result of large-scale investigative and other procedural actions conducted within the criminal case investigated in Tumanyan Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of murder of 34 year-old resident of Odzun village were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified who is the fellow villager of the victim.
Through preliminary investigation it was found out that on February 20, 2021 at about 19:30 28 year-old resident of Odzun village argued with the fellow villager at the village square during which for the purpose of illegal deprivation of life he fired shots towards him on his vital organs head and abdomen with a hunting gun causing bodily damage incompatible with life. The latter died on the way to hospital.
On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence a decision was made to involve 28 year-old man as a defendant according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 (murder) of RA Criminal Code, search was declared and detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
