Serviceman Received Firearm Bodily Injury as a Result of Shot Fired by Enemy
On 17 August, 2021 at about 15:00 in the combat base located in the protection area of the unit N of the RA Ministry of Defense located at the administrative area of the community of Sotk of Gegharkunik Marz as a result of the shot fired by the enemy the machine gunner of the reconnaissance squadron of the same unit, serviceman of compulsory military service received a firearm bodily injury on the upper third part of the right leg.
A criminal case was initiated in regard with the fact in the Fifth Garrison Investigative Unit of the General Military Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 2, 7 and 13 of the Part 2 of the Article 34-104 of RA Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation is underway.
