Shots in Jrvezh District
On April 14, 2020 at 22:11 a call was received from a citizen informing that shots were fired next to a school in Jrvezh district of Yerevan.
In the result of measures taken it was found out that on April 14, 2020 at about 22:00 an argument took place in the yard of one of the houses of Mayak, Jrvezh district of Yerevan during which shots were fired.
A criminal case was initiated according to the Part 4 of the Article 258 (hooliganism) and the Part 1 of the Article 235 (illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices) of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which is conducted in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
Through inspection of the scene 1 fired capsule, 1 bullet were found.
Investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to find out all circumstances of the case, to find the person (persons) having committed the alleged crime.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
