On May 17, 2021 at 22:40 a call was received from “Gyumri” medical center in Mush Police Division informing that 38 year-old man, stabbed, was taken to them.

A criminal case was initiated in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 (infliction of willful heavy damage to health) of RA Criminal Code.

Inspection of the scene, confiscations were conducted, a number of people were questioned.

Through preliminary investigation it was found out that the man had sustained the bodily injury on the same day at about 21:00 during the argument on domestic matters with 63 year-old fellow-citizen at one of the houses on Shirakatsi Street, Gyumri.

63 year-old man was arrested and gave self-incriminating testimony.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to find out all circumstances of the case.
