Necessary investigatory actions are conducted in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find the circumstances of inflicting heavy bodily damage to a citizen.

On July 20, 2017 at 03:50 a call was received from «Gyumri Medical Center» CJSC informing that a man of about 35-45 with numerous cut-pierced injuries, in critical conditions was taken to them.

In the result of urgent actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case it was found that the man, who is a convicted of open correctional prison of «Artik» penitentiary, had sustained the bodily injuries dangerous for life during an argument with several persons which took place in Khrimyan Hayrik Street of Gyumri town.

A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Shirak Regional Investigative Department according to the Point 6 of the Part 2 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code.

Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to find the circumstances of the case, the frame of those involved in the incident, as well as to identify them.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
