In the result of measures of great volume taken in the framework of the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee a criminal group engaged in illegal turnover of narcotic drugs was revealed, charge was pressed against 15 people.

In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions of great volume conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases initiated on illegal turnover of narcotic drugs a number of interrelated cases of illegal turnover of narcotic drugs were found, 15 people related to them were identified, their actions were personalized.

Particularly, through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained on the allegation that from 2016 to 2017 the people having committed the alleged crime periodically procured narcotic drugs in particularly large amount, mainly drugs of “Spice” type then sold them to other people. It was found that in some cases cigarette mixtures were made with these drugs and were sold.


On the base of the obtained evidence charge was pressed against 15 people, 10 of them were charged with procuring narcotic drugs with the purpose of selling them and selling, 5 - with procuring narcotic drugs with the purpose of using.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to find the source of procurement of narcotic drugs with the purpose of selling, to identify others possibly related to the case and to give appropriate criminal legal assessment to their actions.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
