Within the criminal case investigated in the Department of Investigation of Corruption Crimes, Crimes against Property and Cybercrimes of General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases actual data were obtained on apparent cases of exceeding official authorities, cheating by officials of the RA legislative and executive bodies and a decision was made to send the criminal case according to investigatory subordination.

In the result of investigatory actions conducted within the criminal case initiated on the base of the report submitted by the director of “Avazahatik” LLC it was found out that the company was founded in 2000 and was engaged in mining industry. Capital of about 80.000 USD involving credit resources was invested obtaining sand washing and sieving lines. However in 2008 artificial obstacles were created by officials of high rank requiring 60 percent of the company’s stocks and mentioned that otherwise the mines would not be exploited. Moreover, it was required to formulate the 60% of the stocks in the name of two different persons – 30% to each.

Besides, it was found out that the head of Noramarg community submitted a suit to court on dissolving the agreement with the director of “Avazahatik” LLC on land lease signed formerly. In the mentioned land the company extracted sand. The suit was sufficed by the court after which a new agreement on the lease of the mentioned land was signed with other owners.

The LLC founder and other witnesses mentioned in their testimonies the names of Hovik and Jonik Abrahamyans, Alik Sargsyan among those related to apparent abuses.

Considering that through the criminal case data were obtained on apparent cases of exceeding official authorities, as well as cheating by officials of the RA legislative and executive bodies a decision was made to send the criminal case to Special Investigatory Service according to investigatory subordination.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
