Apartment Theft Disclosed; Suspects Arrested
In the result of investigatory actions conducted within the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee theft committed in one of the apartments of Aghbyur Serob Street was disclosed, suspects were arrested.
On October 22, 2018 the person (persons) having committed the alleged crime opened the door of one of the apartments of the house 5 of Aghbyur Serob Street with a customized key, illegally entered the apartment and stole money in particularly large amount – 150.000 RUB tantamount to 1.111.500 AMD, 400 USD tantamount to 193.652 AMD, 440.000 AMD and golden jewelry worth about 3.400.000 AMD.
On October 22, 2018 a criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Points 1 and 1.1 of the Part 3 of the Article 177 of RA Criminal Code.
In the result of actions conducted together with operative-intelligence subdivisions actual data were obtained on the allegation that 3 persons were involved in the apparent theft committed in the citizen's apartment, they were identified.
A motion was submitted to court to get permission to conduct searches in the apartments of those having committed the alleged crime.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
