A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on banditry with the purpose of capturing property in large amount.

Pursuant to initial data, on January 27, 2019 at about 01:55 with the purpose of capturing somebody else’s property a masked person entered a bookmaker office operating in Alek Manukyan Street, Yerevan, assaulting the operator-cashier beat him, captured money in large amount – 800.000 AMD from the cash register and fled.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts according to the Point 2 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code.

During preliminary investigation the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Yerevan, born in 1992.

In the result of investigatory and operative-intelligence actions conducted within the criminal case the man, born in 1992, was apprehended and arrested on suspicion of committing the apparent crime.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
