In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions of great volume conducted in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of banditry committed against the employee of one of the petrol stations of Vanadzor town were found out. The suspect was detained.

Pursuant to initial data, on April 13, 2019 at about 01:30 in one of the petrol stations of Vanadzor the person having committed the alleged crime using violence dangerous for life and health – pointing the knife against the neck of petrol station employee, threatening to kill entered the latter's room and swindled the cash money available there and mobile phone of «Samsung Galaxy A3» model.

On April 13, 2019 a criminal case was initiated in Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 3 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code. The employee was found the injured party and questioned.

A number of investigatory actions were conducted – inspection of the scene during which blood like traces were found, samples were taken, witnesses were questioned, confrontation was conducted, an investigatory plan was worked out.

Forensic medical and forensic biological examinations were commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.

In the result of investigatory actions and operative-intelligence measures the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; he is a resident of Lori province, born in 1997. On the same day the latter was found and arrested.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against 22 year-old man according to the Points 3 and 4 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code. The investigator submitted a motion to court to use detention as a pretrial measure against him. It was sufficed.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to find out all circumstances of the case.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
