A criminal case was initiated in Aragatsotn Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on banditry.

On the morning of October 16, 2018 at about 04 two persons with medical masks taking advantage of the fact that the house door was open illegally entered one of the houses of Aragatsotn region, attacked the women who were at home at the moment – mother and daughter, hit them with hands.

During the resistance by mother and daughter the mask of one of those having committed the alleged crime fell and they fled without demanding anything.

On October 16, 2018 a criminal case was initiated in Aragatsotn Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Points 1 and 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code.

Inspection of the scene was conducted during which a medical mask was found. Forensic medical examinations were commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.

The residents of Aragatsotn were found the injured party and questioned.

Working hypotheses were worked out and necessary investigatory actions are conducted to verify them. Instructions were given to the inquest body to take measures to identify those having committed the alleged crime and bring them to the investigative body.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
