Chairman of RA Investigative Committee Held Working Meeting; Work Done by Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia Administrative District of Yerevan Investigative Department in First Term of 2020 Reported
The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan held working consultation with participation of the leadership of the RA Investigative Committee and the heads of structural subdivisions.
The work done in the first term of 2020 by the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee was reported.
It was stated that as of July 1, 2020 747 criminal cases were investigated in the proceeding of the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee 151 of which were passed from 2019, 596 criminal cases were received in proceeding in the first term of 2020, 250 criminal cases were passed to July.
Within the criminal cases investigated in the proceeding of the division 65 persons were involved as a defendant.
All the criminal cases on corruption-related crimes investigated in the investigative division are disclosed.
At the end of the consultation Hayk Grigoryan gave instructions on certain criminal cases as well as to organize the work in a more efficient way, to enhance the quality and efficiency of investigation.
