Chairman of RA Investigative Committee Summed up Work Done by Ararat Regional Investigative Department in 2018 (photos)
During working visit to Ararat province the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan summed up the work done by Ararat Regional Investigative Department in 2018.
The Head of Ararat Regional Investigative Department Ambakum Grigoryan made a speech presenting the previous year's activity of the department.
In 2018 1343 crime cases were recorded at the area of Ararat province as compared with 1233 cases of the previous year. That is the crime cases have increased by 110 cases or 8.9%. The increase of crime cases was registered at 3 areas of the province – Ararat, Masis and Artashat.
Together with 129 cases passed from the previous year 1127 cases or 76.6% out of 1472 cases recorded at the area of Ararat province in 2018 were disclosed.
Ambakum Grigoryan said that the increase of cases is largely due to improvement of registration process of cases in the Police, as well as to drastic increase of citizens’ applications and reports as a result of political changes in the country.
In 2018 17 employees of Ararat Regional Investigative Department were encouraged, awarded with special titles, medals, letters of appreciation, monetary rewards.
The orders and instructions of the Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee are included in the agenda of operative consultation in Ararat Regional Investigative Department, during consultation they are considered and clarified to the employees.
The Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Hayk Grigoryan considered the process of initiated criminal cases sphere by sphere. Instructions were given to organize it more efficiently, as well as to correct the mistakes made by investigators during inspection of the scene.
«Our task is not the numerical indicators, our task is the literate and efficient organization of work», emphasized IC Chairman.
Hayk Grigoryan appealed to the regional department staff to show caring and decent behavior while communicating with citizens.
«Certification process will start in March and those investigators, who don't have knowledge of proper level, will be sent to additional training. Certification process is not a means of getting rid of the person, it is work done to improve knowledge. The improvement of investigator's theoretical knowledge is a priority for us», emphasized the Chairman of the Investigative Committee.
The work done by Ararat Regional Investigative Department was assessed excellent by Hayk Grigoryan. He instructed the department head to present the employees, who have best indices during the service, for encouragement.
«Continue working with the same diligence and responsibility. The steps to improve the work shall be taken every day», mentioned IC Chairman.
At the end of working visit Hayk Grigoryan listened to investigators' offers for enhancement of investigation efficiency and assured that each offer is considered by the relevant subdivisions of the Investigative Committee.
