Artur Poghosyan, the Chairman of the RA Investiagative Committee received today the delegation headed by Chen Ming, Acting Charge d’Affaires of the People’s Republic of China in Armenia.

Artur Poghosyan greeted Chen Ming at the RA Investigative Committee and underlined the mutual understanding and trust between the law enforcement bodies of the two countries, he also highlighted the cooperation established within the framework of mutual legal assistance.

Chen Ming, Acting Charge d’Affaires of the People’s Republic of China in Armenia, congratulated the Chairman of the Investigative Committee on his appointment and thanked for the initiative of the meeting.

Reference was made to the educational and cognitive visits to China made by employees of the Investigative Committee during the previous year, which, acording to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, testifies to the high level of cooperation between the law enforcement systems of the two countries.

Among other issues, the parties agreed to activate bilateral contacts to further expand the cooperation in the field of mutual legal assistance, information security, as well as to organize necessary training courses for the exchange of experience in disclosure of money laundering and transnational crimes.
