In the result of investigatory and other procedural actions of great volume conducted within the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Qanaqer-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee a number of circumstances of apparent abuses committed in “Hematology Center after Professor R.O. Yolyan” CJSC of the RA Ministry of Health were found out.

Pursuant to data obtained through investigation the former director of “Hematology Center after Professor R.O. Yolyan” CJSC holding the mentioned position from 2001 to May, 2018, abusing his official position, having competency to manage bonuses of the employees of the mentioned CJSC, from 2010 to 2018 with the help of the accountants of the center embezzled 50% of bonuses of the employees of Immunohematology laboratory, serology and pediatrics departments – 26.514.391 AMD in total.

On the base of the obtained sufficient evidence charge was pressed against the former director of “Hematology Center after Professor R.O. Yolyan” CJSC according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 179 (squandering or embezzlement) of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

During preliminary investigation the damage caused by the latter was recovered.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
