Combat bullets found and confiscated in the result of searches
Preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on illegal procurement, keeping and transportation of weapon and ammunition with prior agreement by a group of persons is ongoing in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee.
Taking public interest into consideration we inform that on July 1, 2016 searches were conducted in 13 different addresses in the result of which several documents, materials were confiscated. Besides, 469 bullets of 5.45 mm caliber, 10 bullets of 7.62 mm caliber and 9 bullets of 5.6 mm caliber were found and confiscated.
The owner of the flat where the combat bullets were found was arrested.
Preliminary investigation is ongoing.
Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
