Investigation is conducted in Spitak Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of 40 year-old man’s murder. One person was arrested.

On January 15, 2019 at 13:20 a call was received from “Spitak Medical Center” CJSC informing that on the same day a 40 year-old man with a diagnosis of “firearm injury on the abdomen, amputation of the left ear and cut wound on the right ear” was taken to medical center. The man died without regaining consciousness.

On January 15, 2019 a criminal case was initiated in Spitak Investigative Division of Lori Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Point 5 of the Part 2 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.

In the result of necessary investigatory and operative-intelligence actions conducted within the criminal case a number of circumstances were found out, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified; on January 16, 2019 the latter was arrested on suspicion of committing the alleged crime.

Within the criminal case investigatory and other procedural actions of great volume were conducted, inspection of the scene, inspections of the body and car were conducted, samples were taken, searches and confiscations were conducted, a number of persons were questioned.

Forensic medical examinations were commissioned to find out circumstances significant for the criminal case.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigatory and other procedural actions are conducted to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case.
