Investigation is conducted in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out circumstances of hooliganism committed in the second district of Avan-Arinj.

On October 17, 2019 calls were received in Nor Nork Police Division from two citizens informing that shots were fired in the yard of one of the houses of the second district of Avan-Arinj and their cars which were parked in the yard were damaged, there were bullets on the cars.

The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the scene. In the result of necessary measures 3 fired capsules and a fired ball were found at the scene.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 4 of the Article 258 of RA Criminal Code.

Within the criminal case a number of persons were questioned, confiscations were conducted, forensic ballistic, forensic trace and forensic merchandising examinations were commissioned.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Measures are taken to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of circumstances of the case, to find the person (persons) having committed the alleged crime.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
