Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Arman Poghosyan received Chargé d'Affaires of IRI Embassy in Armenia Ali Nasir Sobhanipur.

Greeting the guests RA IC Deputy Chairman Arman Poghosyan attached importance to active communication between the RA Investigative Committee and Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia which contributes to operative solution of working problems arising in the sphere of mutual legal assistance.

The Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee emphasized that high-level meetings create great prospects and opportunities to more efficiently organize the legal protection of the citizens of the two neighboring countries conditioned by their active reciprocal visits.

Chargé d'Affaires of IRI Embassy in Armenia Ali Nasir Sobhanipur assessed highly the close cooperation established between the law enforcement bodies of Armenia and Iran in legal assistance between the investigative bodies of the two countries, as well as in fight against international crime.

The parties discussed issues of mutual interest and arranged to continue discussions in working order which will contribute to closer cooperation between the investigative bodies of two countries, to organize the information exchange during preliminary investigation of criminal cases in a more operative way.
