Representatives of Management and Teaching staff of Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies (NESA) at the RA Investigative Committee; Cooperation Arrangements in Training Field Achieved (photos)
Development of capacities of investigators of territorial bodies and subdivisions of the Committee within the crimes committed in the field of high technologies and acquisition of electronic evidence is ongoing to be undertaken at the RA Investigative Committee.
At the invitation of the Head of the Department of Investigation of Cybercrime and High Technology Crime of General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the RA Investigative Committee, with support of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia, representatives of management and teaching staff of Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies (NESA) have arrived in Armenia to familiarize with the educational and experience needs for the development of the capacities of the investigative bodies of Armenia in this field.
The U.S. delegation was received at the RA Investigative Committee by Arsen Ayvazyan, Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee. During the meeting the possibilities of cooperation with Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies have been discussed in the context of familiarizing the Committee's investigators with the institutional systems and capabilities of the countries with leading position in the given field, in particular the U.S.
As a result of the meeting specific arrangements on development of capacities of the investigators in the field of cybercrimes, high technologies, acquisition of electronic evidence and holding training courses over the next few months have been achieved.
