Through preliminary investigation of the criminal case, initiated in Kotayq Regional Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on the base of the call on assault against a 20 year-old girl in Charentsavan, a number of circumstances have been found which prove to be false.
 

On June 20, 2015 at 20:40 a call was received in Police Station of Charentsavan, then a report was submitted informing that three masked men entered one of the apartments of the same town, tied the 20 year-old daughter of the host and swindled 5 million AMD.
 

On the base of the report a criminal case was initiated in Kotayq Regional Investigative Department according to the Point 1 of the Part 3 of the Article 175 of RA Criminal Code. In the framework of the criminal case necessary investigatory and procedural measures are taken to provide the comprehensive and objective examination of circumstances of the case.
 

In the result of the investigatory actions it was found that actually no assault was committed.
 

According to the obtained evidence the girl together with her friends spent all the money saved by her parents without letting them know and getting their permission. Being afraid of his father’s possible response, on June 16 the girl messed up the house, tied herself, called her relative and asked for help.
 

During preliminary investigation an investigatory experiment was conducted during which the 20 year-old girl described her actions, including the way of tying herself.
 

Preliminary investigation is under way.
