Necessary investigatory and procedural actions are being conducted in the framework of the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of RA Investigative Committee to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete examination of circumstances of violence used against Harutyun and Mushegh Zaqaryan brothers at the area called “Sdghi Gyol” in Goris.
 

Taking the public interest into consideration, we inform that in the result of investigatory actions sufficient data were obtained on the allegation that the citizen Seyran Khachatryan also used violence against Mushegh Zaqaryan.
 

Accordidng to the results of preliminary investigation, on May 2 at about 17:00 a group of persons battered Mushegh Zaqaryan inflicting him bodily damages during the row erupted at the area called “Sdghi Gyol”, Seyran Khachatryan also beat several parts of Zaqaryan’s body with his hands and feet.
 

Based on the obtained evidence, on 1.07.2015 Seyran Khachatryan was involved as a defendant. He was charged according to the Article 118 of RA Criminal Code and was interrogated. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.
 

It was earlier informed that in the result of comprehensive investigatory and procedural actions conducted in the framework of the criminal case the motive of the row erupted at the mentioned area was found, the fact of using violence against Zaqaryan brothers was grounded, sufficient data were obtained on the allegation that Mushegh Zaqaryan had been battered by the group. According to the result of forensic expertise some bodily damages sustained by the latter in the result of battering were of medium-gravity. Through investigation the frame of persons, who committed violent acts against M. Zaqaryan, was found, the nature of actions and participation degree of some of the participants were personalized.  
 

On the base of the obtained evidence, in June 4 more persons were involved as a defendant. 3 of them were charged according to the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 113 of RA Criminal Code, search was declared against the fourth person.
 

The appropriate operative-intelligence subdivisions were tasked to intensify the measures directed at finding the person under persecution.
 

Preliminary investigation is under way. Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to clarify the nature of the actions and the participation degree of the persons having participated in the incident.
 

Information on procedural decisions made on the base of the results of the investigation will regularly be provided.
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
