In the framework of the criminal case investigated in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of RA Investigative Committee necessary investigatory and procedural actions are still being conducted to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of circumstances of violence used against Harutyun and Mushegh Zaqaryan brothers at the area called “Sdghi Gyol”.

Taking the public interest into consideration we inform that Mayis Khachatryan, who had been under persecution since June 15 for using violence against Mushegh Zaqaryan, was found.

On the base of the obtained evidence, on September 29 the investigator pressed charge against M. Khachatryan according to the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 113 of RA Criminal Code and submitted a motion to the court to confirm detention chosen as a pretrial measure against M. Khachatryan.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
