Necessary investigatory and procedural actions are ongoing in General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of RA Investigative Committee to provide the comprehensive, objective and complete investigation of all the circumstances of violence used against Harutyun and Mushegh Zaqaryan brothers at the area called “Sdghi Gyol” in Goris. In the framework of the case charge was pressed against one more person.
 

Taking the public interest into consideration, we inform that in the result of investigatory actions sufficient data were obtained on the allegation that the citizen Eyner Khachatryan also took part in the violence used against Mushegh Zaqaryan.
 

According to the results of preliminary investigation on June 2, at about 17:00 a group of persons battered Mushegh Zaqaryan at the row erupted at the area called “Sdghi Gyol” inflicting him bodily damages. During the battery Eyner Khachatryan also struck at several parts of Zaqaryan’s body with his hands and feet.
 

On the base of the obtained evidence on July 14 E. Khachatryan was charged according to the Article 118 of RA Criminal Code. Signature not to leave was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.
 

Earlier it was informed that 5 more persons were charged with using violence against M. Zaqaryan. Three of them were charged according to the Point 3 of the Part 2 of the Article 113 of RA Criminal Code, search was declared against the fourth with the same charge, one of them was charged according to the Article 118 of RA Criminal Code.  
 

Preliminary investigation is ongoing. Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to clarify the nature of the actions of other persons and the degree of their participation in violence.  
 

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
