Investigation is conducted in Dilijan Investigative Division of Tavush Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee to find out all circumstances of murder attempt committed against 31 year-old resident of Dilijan.

Pursuant to investigation data, on December 11, 2019 at 22:15 a call was received in Dilijan Police Division from “Dilijan” medical center informing that 31 year-old resident of Dilijan with firearm injury was taken to them.

Through investigation data were obtained on the allegation that on December 11, 2019 at about 21:30 in the yard of gas station operating in Tbilisyan Avenue of Dilijan 34 year-old resident of the same community, with the purpose of illegal deprivation of life fired three times with a firearm kept by him illegally towards 31 year-old man causing the latter firearm injuries. However, under unforeseen circumstances he could not complete the crime and fled.  

A criminal case was initiated in Dilijan Investigative Division of Tavush Regional Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code.

31 year-old man was found the injured party within the criminal case. During preliminary investigation inspection of the scene was conducted, the clothes of the injured were confiscated, witnesses were questioned, forensic medical and forensic ballistic examinations were commissioned.

On the base of the sufficient evidence obtained during preliminary investigation a decision was made to involve 34 year-old man as a defendant according to the Part 1 of the Article 34-104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. A motion was submitted to court to choose detention as a pretrial measure against him. Search was declared against 34 year-old man.

The relevant subdivision of the police was tasked to take measures to find the person having committed the alleged crime.
